We’re Bringing Welsh Milk to The Whole of The UK!

Calon Wen is very pleased to announce that we are now able to supply our great tasting Welsh organic milk to the rest of the UK.  Since July our milk products have been listed and available to buy online with Ocado, the world’s largest dedicated online grocery retailer, which means that customers can now have our milk delivered direct to their door.

Good for Our Customers

We are very proud to now be able to see our milk products sat alongside our Calon Wen Organic Unsalted Butter and our Organic Slightly Salted Butter which have been available to add to your shopping basket at Ocado since 2015.

You can buy our Calon Wen Milk safe in the knowledge that the land we farm never sees an artificial pesticide or herbicide and most importantly our cows graze our clover rich organic pastures outside for three out of four seasons at least and even longer if the weather permits and its safe for our cows to do so. All this helps our healthy cows produce organic milk that we hope you will enjoy.

By shopping via Ocado you can buy healthy organic produce from the comfort of your own home and know that in doing so you are not only supporting our farmers you are also choosing to shop with a company with a goal to become the UK’s most environmentally-friendly supermarket.

Ocado are extremely supportive of all sizes of businesses within the organic industry, providing a comprehensive range of organic lines for online shoppers and delivering innovation through the range.

Consumer Award Judges

Offering a wide choice of organic products allows Ocado customers to choose which suppliers they wish to support and allows them to find small organic producers from across the UK that they previously may not have heard of.  These products are then conveniently delivered to the kitchen table.

I’m delighted that shoppers are enjoying the convenience of having such a wide range of organic products delivered to their kitchen table each week. We’ll continue to work with big and small suppliers of organic produce to grow the range and if customers have organic favourites they’d like to have delivered, they should let us know through the website.

Good for Wales

Calon Wen is now a leading brand in Wales, supplying Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Morrisons & Waitrose as well as many independent retailers across Wales.

To be able to now take the brand to the rest of the UK via Ocado represents a great opportunity to bring Welsh Organic milk to the masses.

Good for Calon Wen

We are very excited and grateful to be working with the UK’s number one online retailer, it is a good fit for our products and they (Ocado) are a pleasure to do business with.

Stuart McNally

Moving forward, Ocado have announced a new joint venture with Marks & Spencer from 2020 when their current deal with Waitrose expires and with this in mind we only anticipate good things for our business trade together.
