R U the 1 for me?
We all know that ‘a dog is a farmers’ best friend’. Over here at Calon Wen we thought we could in fact help them...so we’ve teamed up with the RSPCA in order to launch our ‘R U the 1 for me?’ campaign to help dogs find their perfect partners as the season of love approaches.
Following the world wide success of ‘Fancy a Farmer?’ we thought it’s about time to show some love for our canine friends. They will feature on our milk bottles for St Dwynwen day (which is the Welsh patron saint of lovers) and again for Valentine’s Day. The stickers feature examples of dogs who are looking for new homes and include these four adorable characters from the Bryn y Maen rescue centre...

As Calon Wen customers we know you care about animal welfare and we thought you are the perfect people to contact about helping dogs who have ended up in the centers, often through no fault of their own.
The campaign’s aim is to raise awareness of dogs and other animals which are in the care of the RSPCA and ask you on these well renowned days of ‘love’ to show some love not only to other people but animals too.
Across the UK there are several rescue centres which care for animals in their time of need, having been rescued or given up by their previous owners. These are kind hearted and lovable friends who just need another chance at life.
